"Untitled #1" is an artwork created by artist Ala d'Amico at her printshop Orme, located in Rome. The collaboration for this project involved photographer Valeria Giampietro. The artwork consists of 12 silkscreens, divided into three editions, which combine two distinct images from the repertoire: a starry night sky and an image reminiscent of the moon. During the various stages of the printing process, Prussian Blue and Carbon Black inks are overlapped and blended together. As a result, each silkscreen that emerges from this union is unique and distinct from the others, bearing its own individuality.
