Universo Maglia's inaugural gesture took inspiration from the transit of Jupiter in Pisces and the past, evoking the core designs of Maremma Maglia's cardigans. These cardigans, named Insieme, meaning "together," symbolise our collective beginning in the celestial realm.Representing the day and night sky, all the sweaters have hand embroidered symbols of the planets and the zodiac signs.The transit of Jupiter in Pisces also gave rise to the first collaboration with the Fondazione Antonio Ratti in Como. The foundation houses one of the most esteemed silk archives in Europe. This collaboration involved reimagining their archival prints in new ways and formats. The antique prints undergo a transformation infused with the characteristics of Jupiter's transits, as Jupiter magnifies everything it touches. Within the sign of Pisces, the collaboration explores themes of spirituality, fantasy, and the subconscious. Pisces is a sign that connects with universal emotions and consciousness, transcending the individual. Anatomically, Pisces represents the feet, while its symbolic representation often depicts two fishes swimming in opposite directions. From here the two silk bags were created, featuring a tiny dancer, fishes and stars, in collaboration with the brand Home of Hai.
